Jealousy

Jealous is defined in Websters Online Dictionary as intolerant of rivalry or unfaithfulness, disposed to suspect rivalry or unfaithfulness.  Hostile toward a rival or one believed to enjoy an advantage.

Whether you are jealous or envious of another or the victim of someone’s jealousy or envy  of you it is painful.  How do you respond to the success of another?  How do you respond when others are jealous of your success?

JEALOUSY -STRONGS 7068 – Qin’ah -ardour,zeal, jealousy…of men for God, of men for the house of God, God for His people, men against adversaries, of God against men, envy of man, jealousy (resulting in the wrath of God)  (proverbs 27:4)

JEALOUSY- STRONGS 2205- Zelos-  excitement of mind, ardour, fervor of spirit, zeal….the fierceness of indignation, an envious and contentious rivalry,  jealousy (Galatians 5:20)
